This grant focused on initiating infrastructure development for ranger stations, outposts, and administrative buildings in both Kanuku Mountains and Shell Beach. A consultant engineer was hired to produce architectural drawings and bills of quantities. The project faced delays due to land acquisition issues and national disruptions including elections and the COVID-19 pandemic, which halted field activities and community access.
