Grant Description

This project covers all 3 of the PAC managed protected areas and falls under 3 out of 4 of their Strategic Plan programme areas, namely, Administration and Management; Benefits and Partners and Awareness and Outreach.

The Grant provided for:

  • hiring rangers to implement KMPA Management Plan;
  • monitoring of KMPA; and
  • printing and dissemination of SBPA Management Plans to improve awareness of PAs and their values.

Programme 1: Operation and Adaptive Management
Management Plan Objective 1.1: To effectively manage the PA using appropriate management structures and systems
1.1.1.Hire 2 additional KMPA rangers to implement the Management Plan
1.1.2.Develop drawings and bill of quantities for the construction of infrastructure at KMPA
